TWA Poet: Donald Hall

1928 - 2018

It’s the birthday of poet, editor, and literary critic Donald Hall (1928), born in Hamden, Connecticut. He met fellow poet Jane Kenyon while teaching at the University of Michigan and in 1972 they married. Hall and Kenyon wrote often about each other and their life together. They lived and worked together on his grandparents’ farm in New Hampshire.
