I am so happy to have found you again. And I have looked. The Writers Almanac was the first thing we read when I taught Composition at HVCC in Troy NY. Such an enriching way to start each class with students who mostly didn’t want to be in this mandatory class no matter that I explained to them that the reason it was mandatory was because the conversation we would engage in was the bedrock of democracy and that writing is one of the most difficult activities humans engage in.
