I found a misspelling and I can't help but point it out. "No new political party since then has won the presidency of the United Sates." I hate to be the kind of a person who points out errors in spelling and typos but I feel my affection for the Writer's Almanac dictates that I, indeed, am that kind of person.

I value the WA because I fail to value the trifle I am forced to read in the modern world. No meaningful fact checking, no proof reading and hideous grammar. I read the repeated installments of the Writer's Almanac as a reminder that there is still an English Major out there that cares that I care.
