"I. Kant" could when he tried (sorry for the very lame attempt at humor here)...this bit goes clearly back to my required "Intro to Philosophy" course many moons ago. Somehow this short quip got appended to every response which included a negative, "No thanks!" at the end. I always thought that appendage made more good sense than most any other. Kant was all for finding goodness in each to generate more of it. I like that.

Very likely it wouldn't fly far today. We look for our version that best serves us, and little or nothing that serves others. I can read and talk about service for others, but I need to lose the quip, because, I honestly think Kant would approve. In the other couplet of words, I find "I can!" Well, at least try. And making sense of this diatribe with myself, I. Kant!

No, I'm not sure what this negativnism of Kant's is all about. But, it is what it is,... the world is surely the worse for its negative focus. I think I should go back and re-read Professor Kant, but it will do now as it did little good then. Nonetheless.....I can't say I have too much Kant.

Earth Day symbolizes the effort and outreach of the world's preservation. Springtime is definitely a highlight for me in terms of seasonal re-growth and a seed for new poetry. I really am a bit cynical when it comes to famous poets & poetesses. I never found Louise Gluck as an iconic, acclaimed writer of verse. Perhaps one day I will embrace her riches & wisdom. Frost was my introduction to classic poetry. Nature was its stage and platform. Thank you to all those who provide betterment and

enhance our own soul's journey.
