The Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli has most of the best artifacts from Pompeii, so if you are in Naples and don't have time to take the train to the actual site, it would be definitely worthwhile to go to the museum. There were lots of brothels in Pompeii so there was quite a bit of erotic art used in advertising. The Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Napoli has lots of it displayed in a secret room for which you need to make a special appointment to visit. I didn't bother doing that, but I happened to be near the entrance when a tour group from France was about to go in, so I sneaked in with them. I found the works of art in there to be more humorous than erotic.
How can the discovery of the structure of DNA be discussed in 2023 without referencing Dr. Rosalind Franklin? She was included in my high school studies, decades ago.
