Seems to me that Madame Duras was ravaged for other's purposes. Willing is as willing will do, though. Just don't get left out on a rainy day while another one is being ravaged.
I used to catch The Writer’s Almanac on my local NPR station, but only sporadically, due to my travel and work schedule. I’m really enjoying reading it now; the topics are so interesting and wide-ranging, and I’ve been introduced to so many good writers whose work is new to me.
TWA is a joy to receive. I can only imagine how fun it must have been to write. After today's missive, I realize I must read Duras's The Lover. Thank you for all your good work over the decades.
