Pardon me if I tend to ramble about. I never could comprehend the Harry Potter series. It seemed very juvenile to me especially the witchcraft references. I must have seen a few of J.K. Rowling's movie adaptations. It left a shallow hole where my heart was. Is this pop culture phenomenon comparable to the literary classics? Certainly, Ms Rowling sold a lot of books and was a bit of a witch actually when being interviewed. Centuries from now, Harry Potter will be required reading for YA readers. What a shame, eh?
Tomorrow is my mother's birthday and I need to be a better son. Thanks mom for your eighty three years and counting.
