I first drove west from New Jersey to California in 1957. No interstate highway system then. But, I remeber when it was being constructed and thought it was a great accomplishment. What it did, however, was segment the country, especially for wildlife, and has resulted in the deaths of millions of animals - as well as people who struck bear, elk, deer, etc. Now, at long last, crossing passages are being built - but not enough and not quickly enough. I'm rooting for the wildlife to have safe crossings and to reconnect wildlife ecosystems. The toll on wildlife has been heavy. I'm a Luddite. Back to the stone age. Progress is a curse!

I do not think i ever read The Little Prince as a child or adult now. Perhaps I am depraved and deprived. Shakespeare's Globe Theatre would be a cool place to witness live. So much history and lessons to be taught.
