I own a mass market paperback of Leaves of Grass. Whitman definitely drew me in. A lot of my favourite authors are gay and it's quite different landscape than now. My folks are more ultra conservative. We watched Beginners together with Christopher Plummer. It wasn't their fancy cup of Irish tea.I am more open than them. Maybe it's my sensitive nature at work.
